The Live Oak Treehouse is built into a cluster of oaks on the Palo Alto Creek. Relax in the hammock or snuggle up in the nook by the big, round window for some reading or writing. Soak in the private candlelit outdoor bathtub with an open view of nature (use it as a bath or a hot tub!) then retire upstairs to a king bed under a lacy canopy and twinkle lights — everything is better in a treehouse. Wildlife is everywhere on our slice of Hill Country heaven: songbirds, deer, wild turkeys, armadillos, and more. The Live Oak is cozy, bright, and surrounded by nature, but it’s also close to town — only an 8 minute drive from Main Street, Fredericksburg.

Parking is available directly in front of the cabin. Must be able to climb stairs to enter cabin.

No smoking, no pets, no parties or events. Please respect the privacy and tranquility of any other guests on the property: no loud music in outdoor areas.
No hunting or fishing is allowed at HoneyTree. No drones.
Please note: while the Live Oak is designed to be a romantic getaway, babies and small children are also welcome! Bring your own pack-n-play or extra bedding to make their stay as comfortable as possible.

Getting to The Live Oak
HoneyTree is located just 8 minutes outside of Fredericksburg off of Hwy 16N. Be mindful when planning your stay to use the directions sent to you along with your reservation instead of relying on Google or Apple Maps.
Check-in & Check-out
The Live Oak offers self check-in with the keypad and your unique guest code. Check-in is available starting at 3:00pm the day of your reservation. Check-out is at 11am the day of your departure.
